Chocolate Coconut Cashew
INGREDIENTS: Dates, Almonds, Coconuts, Cashews, Cacao, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Himalayan Sea Salt
Since the launch of our chocolate line, our Chocolate Coconut Cashew bar has quickly become a fan favorite! With its rich cocoa and coconut flavor, we knew it would be a hit. We like to think of the Chocolate Coconut Cashew bar as a healthy alternative to the traditional Almond Joy candy bar. Just in time for Halloween!
Coconuts are one of nature's best gifts and have so many health benefits. Adding coconut and coconut oil to your diet can help boost energy and good cholesterol. Coconuts are also rich in copper and iron, which can aid in the forming of red blood cells. They also provide selenium, a very important antioxidant that protects your cells and may help prevent cardiovascular disease, thyroid problems and cognitive decline. Cocoa is one of nature’s natural sweeteners so you won’t have a dreaded sugar rush after eating this bar! Since the bar is date-based, you’re still getting all of the awesome health benefits of flavonoids that we mentioned in our last blog post.
The almonds and cashews in this bar add the perfect amount of texture and are a great source of protein. Cashews are rich in heart-healthy fatty acids that can help prevent cardiovascular disease and can even boost your immune system! It’s no secret that almonds are a great source of protein, but they also improve bone and skin health. Himilayan sea salt brings a whole lot of goodness to the Chocolate Coconut Cashew bar -- and we aren’t just talking about flavor! It can help balance your pH levels and reduce acid reflux. This type of salt can also help with your metabolism and create an electrolyte balance. Basically, it's a magic ingredient that has been proven to be healthier than standard table salt.
