Happy Bey Day, y’all!

It’s September 4th which means it's Queen B’s Birthday! Not only is Beyoncé an entertainment icon, but she is also wellness #GOALS. In honor of this important holiday, we put together a list of times Beyoncé showed us she truly is the Queen of Wellness.

The time she made “Kale” happen.

Genius recognizes genius, so it’s no surprise that Queen B is obsessed with the queen of nutrient dense leafy greens. Beyoncé infamously wore her iconic KALE sweatshirt (kind of like Yale, but without the studying and more antioxidants) out on the town and in her 7/11 music video

When she shared her love for a plant-based diet.

Beyoncé has been vegan on and off for years, and she uses a plant-based diet to keep in shape for her insanely impressive tour shows. She wrote the forward to Marco Borges 22-Day Revolution, a guided plant-based program. Word on the street is she even got Jay-Z to join in! @Beyoncé let us know if you ever want to try any of our 100% plant-based real food energy bars!

Her trip to Soul Cycle that made all of us sign up for a membership.

After the birth of her twins Rumi and Sir Carter, The Queen and her King snuck into one of Angela Davis’ Soul Cycle classes. According to E! News, "She was totally into the music and bopping her head and grooving along.” So what you’re telling me is...I am basically Beyoncé every time I blast Formation while working out.

When she partnered up with UCLA to offer COVID-19 online toolkits for mental wellness.

UCLA, in partnership with Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD initiative, have created an online care package to help people struggling with anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like a true Queen, Beyoncé knows mental health is just as important as physical health, and we could not be prouder to love such a caring woman.
