The Story Behind the Photo: The Nowhere Men

The second edition of "Eat, Tag, Win!" is courtesy of the always adventurous Nowhere Men. The guys took on a 15,000+ mile, 12+ month adventure to drive from New York City  to Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, otherwise known as the “End of the World.”
Name: Nowhere Men
Location: Pamir Mountains, Tajikistan

The story:
"We were driving through the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan, a highly-remote stretch of dirt road that is known as the highest-altitude "highway" in the world. Winding between mountains on the border of Afghanistan, we found this rickety bridge crossing a fierce river on the side of the road, and our stubborn spirit of adventure dared us to stop and see how sturdy it might be. We've always loved this photo - maybe it's the raw disbelief in Eric's pose, the striking greens and blues of the river and mountains, or maybe it's just Eric's red shorts. Whatever it is, this photo always takes us back to that rickety bridge and our gut decision to test it for ourselves in the wilds of Tajikistan."
So remember to start tagging @thunderbirdbar and using the hashtag #thunderbirdbar on your Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pictures, and your picture could become the Thunderbird homepage picture of the month! The monthly winner will receive a box of bars and some other great Thunderbird bar gear!
Some quick contest reminders:
    • Must have a person or people
    • Face cannot be identifiable
    • Outdoor, fun, active, adventure, and visually powerful
